Week 9 in Punta Gruesa- Rescue divers in Laguna Azul, meat, cheese and bread celebration!

During week 9, eight volunteers completed their PADI Rescue Diver scenarios in the crystal aquamarine Laguna Azul located about 90 minutes South of Punta Gruesa. There, two staff members expertly hid on the sandy bottom, but all pairs of volunteers passed, using the skills taught to us by the amazing Punta Gruesa staff, to rescue the unconscious diver.

After a delicious picnic lunch of MEAT, CHEESE and BREAD, and a few more dives, hot showers were enjoyed by all at the laguna campgrounds.

We ended the great day, in Mahahual, with celebratory quesadillas and a clicking of cerveza bottles to us all!!
