Last Saturday as the first phase of 2010 finished in our
Marine conservation expeditions our 3rd batch of
Dive master Interns in Mexico were also finishing their placements in the dive shops along the coast of Quintana Roo. After 10 weeks of intensive work in their dive shop we are pleased to congratulate 17 newly Dive Masters which not only completed their course accomplishing all PADI DM skills but also they learned customer service, logistics behind diving, accounting, marketing, servicing, and a "little bit" of what is like living in a foreign country!
In order to celebrate this GVI Mexico offered a dinner to all of them and to the instructors from the dive shops that taught all what a DM needed to know to face the dive industry in a professional level and will be missing such great interns!
In two weeks time our 4th batch of interns that has just finished their
Marine conservation training in the Expeditoin will be starting their dive placement and we will for sure be publishing news on how they are doing.
