Patrick, one of the lucky recipients of the GVI day trip just sent us an email talking about his experience:

Dear Daniel,

My name is Patrick Crane and I am presently staying in Mahahual, Mexico.

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your kind gesture of donating a silent auction dive/snorkel trip with GVI, in order to raise money for a Christmas party for the under-privileged children of Mahahual.

I was lucky enough to be the recipient of the trip and on Saturday we finally managed to get to the reef, escorted by Rafael and Sam. We had a truly wonderful time and I was not only impressed by the reef itself, but also by the work that the GVI staff are undertaking and the dedication of the people involved.

Rafael and the staff were courteous, informative, and made sure that we enjoyed the day, but at the same time, always ensuring that our safety was paramount.

My partner is a scuba diving instructor and my daughter owns a dive travel business in the US, and so we have a lot of friends and colleagues in the diving community. I will certainly let them know of the fine work that GVI is doing.
