Meet Sam Handley, Scholar in Pez Maya!

Sam Handley came as a volunteer in April 2010 to Pez Maya. At the time he wasn't a diver but by the end of the expedition he was a very well trained Dive Master and knew all the coral species and monitoring tecniques. He was then awarded, together with Jessie (who you will meet later in this blog), one of the scholarships that are given every phase to 2 outstanding volunteers in order to stay one more phase and learn all about logistics and help with the training to new volunteers.
