Alternative energy in Pez Maya. Spread the word and help us raising the funds!
To continue in the same line as the previous blog entry we are glad to inform that soon Pez Maya will be powered by Renewable energy! Just as its sister expedition is in Punta Gruesa, Mahahual. However, in order to acheive it we need your help to spread the word and help us raising the necessary funds to make this project come through.

Any contribution will help making Pez Maya more environmentally friendly for future volunteers, staff, researchers, students or anyone that visits the base. You will also be assisting Amigos de Sian ka’an to achieve the aim of having a sustainable research center within the reserve as the installation of effective alternative power sources sets a great example to local businesses, community, tourists and volunteers to follow.
