The Festival, on top of showing many short films as part of its official programme, will also organize a series of workshops and open tables where cinema-related topics will be discuss. Renown directors, screen writers and actors will join these workshops and discussions.
This 3rd Edition of the RMUFF also aims to link cinema and culture with ecology and conservation. In order to achieve this, RMUFF has partnered with Amigos de Sian Ka'an and the mangrove ecosystem has been selected as the "cause" this edition. Amigos will organize a series of talks and activities, within the RMUFF, in order to increase the public awareness to the environmental problems that this ecosystems suffers nowadays.
RMUFF will also donate a portion of its benefits to Amigos, supporting this way its conservation and research efforts.
