Put the Lime in the Coconut!
Meat may not be abundant at Punta Gruesa, but Coconuts are! And what's a better way to meet people and get protein than to do a huge coconut peeling party! Some were using knives, others conch shells to get the precious reward: coconut milk!!! But the technique isn't simple and risk-free, watch your fingers and even if it took you half an hour to open the floating treasure you may have lost your time and opened a rotten one.
By the end of the day, we had so much coconut that we made a vegetable curry with a coconut sauce !
