On Friday, Lluvia Pez Maya expedition manager, went to a meeting held in one of the all inclusive hotels in the Riviera Maya. The purpose of the meeting was to create a network of people that are working with environmental education in the area. The idea is to create a group to support activities and to share experiences, as well as organize different events and visits to schools. We had different people coming to the meeting: the Tulum’s ecology department, Eco-bahía group, Cesiak (Ecological centre of Sian Ka’an), Akumal Ecological centre, Xel-Ha park, Orígenes Fundation and a TV producer, and of course GVI. This people have been working in environmental education in the area for years and now will join forces to spread the word. Well done!
