It also worked as a space to create networks between people with similar interests and environmental concerns, suppliers and clients. Alongside, during the two days a full agenda of talks on Sustainable development, Social Responsibility and Natural Resources conservation among other interesting topics given by recognized governmental and non governmental personalities of the Region was presented. Workshops on recycling paper, composting and coconut uses were also given.
GVI Mexico together with Amigos de Sian Ka'an participated with a stand and a talk promoting regional hand made products and presenting the preliminary results from the Coral Reef Conservation project we are carrying on in Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve and Mahahual.
The event successfully closed with a music band and coconut plants given to the particpants. We are looking forward the next event that is intended to be in November!
