As the second week started so did some new responsibilities, our duties. These involve various jobs around camp to help out. But we also started our diving! We each get either 1 or 2 dives a day, some people are working on their Open Water certification, others on their Advanced Open Water certification, with some coral or fish spots in between. Diving is a big portion of our day, whether its kitting up or everyone`s favorite, pushing the boats up and down the beach, diving is very important down here in Pez Maya.
As the second week comes to an end, many of us are getting quite used to the primitive life on base, and when people say “IGUANA!!” no one flinches. Life is good when you have sandy beaches, comfy hammocks, and tuck boxes, right in your backyard.
2nd week in Pez Maya; new duties, dive courses, old iguanas
