Interphase Preparation
During this current interphase GVI staff members attended a one day training course in Punta Gruesa, Mahahual. Throughout this day Monique Mancilla former Program Coordinator and a Senior Scientist delivered a Standarization Science workshop where staff reviewed identification and monitoring methods as well as EM training techniques. Also, Daniel Ponce Taylor, GVI Mexico Country Director delivered a Health & Safety workshop to refresh important safety standards and incorporate new H&S concepts and guidelines in order to continue with the current H&S track record.
Everybody enjoyed the day, specially the volleyball game! It was also a great opportunity to introduce our new staff members to the rest of the team as well as GVI science and H&S practicals.
