Turtle Festival coming soon!
Hola from Mexico!
As every year since 8 years ago the Marine Turtle Festival will be happening this coming weekend. As you might already know this Festival was created to conmemorated the closing of the Sea turtle season and raise awareness on Turtle and marine conservation. Every year more and more organizations sum efforts and together with GVI, Amigos de Sian Ka'an, Tulum Municipality, Centro Ecologico Akumal (CEA) Centro Ecològico de SianKa'an (CESIAK), Ecobahia, Universidad de Quintana Roo (UQROO), Flora Fauna y cultura de Mexico, Xel-ha, Save the children, CONANP, Green Expo, make it a great and succesful event!

As every year GVI volunteers and staff from both bases take part on it helping in the organization, logistics and making environmental games to children and adults which are always a big success! This year will not be the exception and we are hoping to have fun and contributing to this important project as we do every year!
