Foresty culture workshop in Tulum!
Last Saturday the Tulum Environmental Education network to which GVI is part of, organized a Forestry Culture workshop. We were invited to participate together with people from different organizations such as Centro Ecológico de Sian Ka’an (CESIAK), Centro Ecológico Akumal (CEA), Ecobahia, Municipality of Tulum and some others. The National Forestry commission was in charge of giving the workshop which focused in different techniques to raise awareness on Forestal conservation and education.
We were given a lot material which will be used in future environmental workshops that volunteers and staff from our Marine conservation expeditions organize with our close communities like Mahahual, Tulum, Muyil and Punta Allen. A very insightful and fun workshop!
