Strong winds, snorkeling and study!
This second week in Punta Gruesa started with a big cleanse. The kitchen was turned inside out and everything scrubbed, washed, and put away nice and neat. For the next couple of days the pace was rather slow because the bellowing wind and the heavily breaking waves kept us in the lagoon and away from diving.
With one snorkeling session a day on Sunday and Monday we had lots of time for studying, lectures, working out and relaxation. With this excess time for study, ALL volunteers have managed to pass their fish and coral identification tests, which brings us that much closer to starting the actual reef surveys.
