Punta Allen Verde visits Xel-Ha
As the recycling project Punta Allen Verde is going really well and the people are very motivated to keep up with the challenge, a visit to Xel-Ha recycling centre was organized to know a little bit more about waste separation and compost.
Fourteen people from Punta Allen, adults and kids, went to visit the centre last Saturday with the intention to learn and get some ideas for their recycling centre. After a small presentation on waste management, they went around the centre looking how this big park organizes everything to run smoothly. 
It was very helpful for them to see the massive compost that the park has and some tricks to make it work easy. Punta Allen people were very happy and eager to go back and implement all this knowledge in their, so far, successful project.
