EFR scenarios, turtle monitoring and ecosystems interactive presentation!

Unfortunately due to high winds and rough seas we were unable to get the water for three days… however, we were kept busy with some very dramatic EFR scenarios and learning more about conservation and fish business.

John, Marianna, Jess and Ben headed of to Xcacel to join them on their turtle monitoring. They had the pleasure of releasing baby turtles in to the sea and marking nests.

This week Willyam and Testos ventured to the bridge to find their presentation costumes and saw a manatee. Later that day, the staff saw something equally amazing when the interns wowed them with their acting genius during their ecosystems presentation.

Madison completed her monitor dive but sadly along with John, Jess, Juliet and Kerry left Pez Maya to return home. We miss them all… Boat push will never be the same.
